Brenda's Small Animal Rescue

Sky is a 2 year old pure breed Siberian Husky. We have only had Sky since the end of december 2007 we are her 3rd owners. Her 1st owners breed from her when she was only 6 months old and they also treated her badly. Her 2nd owners rescued her and wanted to keep her but althrough at 1st their landlord was ok about it less then a month later he changed his mind and told them they had to get rid of Sky and thats when we got her.

My eldest son is 17 years old and has wanted a dog for a long time but with all the other animals we couldn't afford it so we told him once he was working and could afford to pay for everything himself and for him to take 100% of the responsibilty for the dog then he could get one. He does now have a part time job so we allowed him to get Sky. Sky is a very loving dog but does need more training and we do have a dog trainer coming out to see her soon. She is very much a part of our family now and we will never let her go. She has just been sprayed and mircochipped and is now back to full health. She loves her food and we do have to make sure she doesn't eat too much. She gets lots of exercise she has a short walk with my son in the morning before school and a hour long walk in the evening and if the weather is ok she will then have lots of runs in our back garden.
